Up and coming...

Lately I've been working on a few projects to get my photography back in action.  I thought about making business cards at work one day when a woman asked me if I would take photographs of her Basset Hound show-dogs.  I told her I would and quickly scribbled some of my info on a torn out page from my sketch book and handed it to her.  I'm thinking if I encounter more people who need a photographer, am I just going to hand them ripped out pieces of paper? Why not make it official? I spent the last few weeks reliving my college design classes and created a card.

Then I thought maybe the people who get my card should see some sample photography of mine.  Which means a website where people can view my photos without it being too personal and unprofessional.  The last few days have been spent selecting, scanning, color correcting, and deleting any signs of dust on each of the photos from the wedding that me and my wife photographed last August.  Then compiling all of the photos onto an accessible website.

Here is a rough image of what my business card looks like.

The website on the back of the card is:

Because of all that is happening, I have not been able to focus on taking photographs and updating my blog.  This should change relatively soon.  I feel like once everything gets organized I'll be taking more photos.

New Business: Starting today, "photo of the day" (still working on a good title for it.)
Here it is.
